Second top executive quits Terry’s Suchard

Alex von Behr, general manager of Kraft Jacobs Suchard’s confectionery arm Terry’s Suchard, is leaving only weeks after the head of marketing also quit the company.

Von Behr is moving abroad, to take up a general management post.

Dean Sanders, marketing controller at Terry’s Suchard, left earlier this month to join European pasta maker Barilla as its European marketing director.

A Kraft spokesman says: “It is unfortunate that Alex and Dean are leaving but we believe we can push Terry’s forward. “

Steve Newiss, Terry’s director of sales, will take over von Behr’s post. Malcolm Kerr, marketing director for Kraft’s cheese and grocery business, replaces Sanders.
