Students need a lesson in life
May I suggest that Kwofi Dwinfour’s letter (MW September 6) can be added to the list of great pie-in-the-sky (Tesco) statements?
1 Computers will lead to the paperless office
2 The brand is dead
3 The first operator in a sector loyalty scheme can screw its customers.
The naivety of his proposition leads me to worry about the ideas departing students have when entering the real world. Although to be fair, we have now taken three students from London Guildhall University on placement and found – so far – that they seem to have acquired much more realisitic attitudes than Mr Dwinfour.
