BNP, the French bank, has terminated its contract with EURO RSCG BETC as a result of a dispute between Havas, the agency’s holding company, and Banexi, a division of BNP. Opéra, Callegari Berville, Publicis and J Walter Thompson will now pitch for the account, estimated to be worth FF43m (5m).

The BBDO group in Germany has replaced its chairman Vulim Vasata with Anton Hildmann. Hildmann has been managing director and vice-chairman since 1990 and is credited with being a driving force behind BBDO’s recent growth.
