Don’t knock the Tango accolade

I am writing in response to the Who gives a toss about Tango’d letter in last week’s issue.

I, for one, do and while I don’t condone squabbling in the media. recognising excellence in marketing, or any other field, is something to be encouraged.

Why? Because it motivates people to aspire, to go that extra yard, to believe that they too can produce something out of the ordinary. In short, to challenge the status quo and do something better.

As for Mr Roper, get that “chip” off your shoulder and if it proves too heavy, I know a team only too willing to help.
