A policeman and a volunteer fireman star in a new TV campaign from Scottish Courage for its US premium lager Coors Extra Gold. The ads, through roster agency Court Burkitt & Company, are part of a 4m spend, and are set in the town of Golden, Colorado, home of the family-run Coors brewery since 1873. They centre on real residents who must resist a drink until they have finished work – but are surrounded by constant reminders of Coors. The ads end with the strapline: ‘Coors Extra Gold. It’s worth its wait in Golden.’
