The Diary is pleased to announce the winner of this year’s Spot the Sponsor competition, run in conjunction with York Racecourse.
Karen Reid, brand manager at Tennant Caledonian Breweries, correctly answered one of the three clues printed in Marketing Week over the past six months. Her name was put into the draw, and pulled out of the hat. Karen has won a fabulous private box for 12 people on one of four York racedays next summer with a champagne reception and canapés.
If you were wondering, the answer to the last clue – which read: “This sponsor supports the English union weekly – Beware Wasps and Tigers etc” – it was of course Courage, which sponsors Rugby Union.
