British nudists protect assets

With everything from Budweiser jeans to JCB jackets appearing in our shops at the moment, it seems anyone and everyone is launching into the clothing market.

The Diary was, however, surprised to learn that even the Central Council for British Naturism has its own range of branded clothing, including hats and T-shirts for when the campsite gets a bit chilly.

The British nudists have even decided to ensure their society’s orange sun logo is safe from plagiarists by registering it as a trademark. John Slater, president of the Institute of Trade Mark Agents says: “It’s prudent to protect their assets.”
