IDV switches director to core brands

Drinks giant IDV has moved Philip Almond, marketing director for brand development at its worldwide brand development centre, to work on its core brands, including Bailey’s and Cinzano.

Almond becomes marketing controller for the brands and will also work on Sheridan’s and Jose Cuervo tequila. He replaces Nicolette Robinson, who is leaving to take a career break and travel abroad.

In another appointment, Peadar Hegarty, regional director for northern Europe at RNA Bailey, the international brand owner for Bailey’s Irish Cream, becomes marketing controller for a clutch of UK brands including Jack Daniel’s, Southern Comfort, Croft Port and Malibu.
