Crush hires Expert Media for 2m brief

Software games company Crush has appointed Expert Media to handle its 2m media account.

The Berkshire-based company is launching a secret project, which it will confirm only as a new consumer entertainment service scheduled for an autumn launch.

However, industry sources say the project is an online sports listing and information service. It will cover all sports and will be regularly updated.

Expert Media won a four-way pitch against three unnamed agencies. Nick Barron, managing director at the agency, says the ad campaign will include posters, press and possibly TV.

On the creative side, Crush saw pitches from four other agencies last week and expects to reach a decision by the end of the month. The budget is understood to be 1m.
