IDM free tickets competition

As Marketing Week readers will know by now, the Diary takes its duties to inform, as well as to entertain, very seriously.

So this week we are running a competition sponsored by The Institute of Direct Marketing, that august body which provides information and training to budding practitioners in the dark arts of DM. Two free tickets, worth almost 1,500, for the IDM’s annual symposium (featuring direct marketing guru Stan Rapp) await the worthy winner.

Just tell us the names of two of the books co-authored by Rapp and his partner Tom Collins and fax your answer to the IDM on 0171-872 5636. Contestants should also sum up their vision of direct marketing for 1997 in no more than ten words. The most apt “soundbites” will decide the winners in the event of a tie.
