Moretti, the Italian beer brand owned by Heineken, has signed as sponsor of Juventus football team for the coming season. The company also has supplier deals with three other clubs: Inter Milan, Udinese and Fiorentina.

Volvo is seeing presentations from its existing national agencies with a view to appointing a lead agency to handle the launch of a new model internationally.

Liptonice iced tea is the latest brand to sign up Eric Cantona to appear in its advertising. A new cam-paign feat-uring the player, pro-duced by J Walter Thompson, will air in France, Belgium and Holland.

Reemtsma, the German cigarette manufacturer, is to market a mint-flavoured version of its leading brand, West, in the summer months only. Sub-branded ‘Ice’, the product will be available between May and September.

In Spain, Nestlé is linking with Coca-Cola to launch a new iced coffee drink, Nescafé Ice, nationwide. The product, which reportedly tested well regionally, will compete with Sienna, marketed by Schweppes.
