Freemasons roll up for magazine

The Diary hears that Freemasonry Today, the magazine for all those men who enjoy sinister ceremonies involving aprons, a single rolled-up trouser leg and the like, is becoming even more professional in its approach, and has been holding a pitch for a contract publisher.

Rumour has it that the magazine, which will donate profits to a Masonic Charity, has a circulation of 100,000 people (all male and mostly wealthy, of course). We suppose this must be one of the most prized magazine mailing lists in the country, and perhaps the most interesting to read.
