Marriott International has launched Marriott Rewards – hailing it the world’s largest multi-brand frequent guest programme. The scheme replaces the company’s Honoured Guest Awards programme and allows its 9 million members to earn and redeem points for free stays at more than 1,000 hotels in 30 countries.

BMW Magazine picked up two awards at this year’s Communicators in Business Awards. BMW Magazine was class winner in the External Publication category. The magazine is published by River Publishing.

London City Airport has awarded the contract for the publication of its customer magazine, City to Cities, to River Publishing. River won the business from incumbent Highbury House, which held the contract for four years.

Kim Conchie, managing director of Brass Tacks Publishing has been named chairman of the Association of Publishing Agencies. He takes over from Julian Treasure, chairman of TPD.

Leigh McGovern has been appointed marketing manager at Virgin Vouchers. She joined the company in January.
