Bass airlifts alco-supplies to Japanese

When one hears about an emergency airlift, it’s usually rations and medical supplies being rushed out to countries ravaged by war or natural disaster and conscience-stricken TV viewers digging deep into their pockets to give to charity telephone hotlines.

But in the case of Bass Brewers, which was recently involved in its own emergency airlift for the people of Japan, its particular mercy mission was of a rather different kind.

Apparently the Japanese cannot get enough of Bass’s Hooper’s Hooch, and a few weeks ago existing shipments had all but run out. So in an act of compassion for the alcopop-deprived Japanese-Bass immediately commandeered a jumbo jet to fly extra supplies of the coveted drink to the land of the Rising Sun.
