Perfect prop to carp on about

The Diary has found the perfect prop for advertising agencies, full of strapped-for-time executives.

The tropical fish tank is a decorative fashion accessory in its own right but – to avoid float ing corpses and unpleasant smells – they have to be looked after. The solution? The FishClub – Virtual Aquarium.

Available at the bargain price of 12,999, the widescreen monitors are fronted with a thin layer of water for a bubbled effect while a laser disk plays the image of tropical fish in virtual water.

Virtual Aquarium manufacturer NEC UK says that marketing of the aquarium will target the “super rich” who, with all their jetsetting and socialising, cannot waste precious time feeding multi-coloured flakes to a fish or scooping out green gunge.

The Diary is expecting advertising agencies across London to put their orders in now.
