CIA director quits to join New PHD

Mike Anderson, marketing director at CIA Medianetwork, has resigned from the agency to join New PHD.

The move comes just nine months after Anderson was promoted to the agency’s board, and praised by the agency’s then deputy managing director, Marco Rimini, for playing a central role in boosting billings through 1996.

Anderson’s resignation last week coincided with another boardroom reshuffle in which board account director Greg Grimmer was appointed to the additional role of client services director.

David Patterson, partner at New PHD, says Anderson will join New PHD as marketing director and board member at a date to be agreed.

“A large part of his job will be new business effort,” says Patterson. “But I hope he will act as a catalyst for all of us after a spell of focusing on sorting out company structure since our merger last year.”

Anderson joined CIA Medianetwork three years ago as new business director.
