Kwik Save has axed the position of store marketing director held by Nick Goss. A spokeswoman refused to comment on Goss’ future role with the company.

Safeway has become the latest supermarket chain to stock Virgin cola. Virgin is now stocked in Tesco, Asda, Woolworths, Morrisons, Somerfield and the Co-op.

The Institute of Charity Fund-Raising Managers is seeking a chief executive following the departure of Stephen Lee after ten years. Lee has not yet decided where he is going.

The Royal National Institute for Deaf People is looking to appoint a deputy director of marketing.

NUS Services Ltd, the commercial and marketing arm of the National Union of Students, has appointed Ian King chief executive. Current CEO John Geddes has not announced his future plans.

Diesel clothing company is testing its latest ad campaign on terrestrial TV for the first time. The new campaign, ‘Successful Living’, deals with the idea of advertising in a non-market economy. Ironically, Diesel is presented as the bad guy, guilty of presenting glamorous images in poor countries without any regard for the local culture. It was created by Swedish advertising agency Pardiset. The account is currently under review.

World Design & Trade, the clothing company which owns brands such as Firetrap, Sonneti and Full Circle, has appointed Daniel Morris as marketing director. Morris joined from Lee Cooper 18 months ago as group sales & marketing manager.
