Knowing wrong from ‘Wright’

If there is only one thing that unites journalists and lifestyle database providers it is a willingness to ensure that names are written or spelled correctly.

I may occasionally be accused of believing I am always right but now it’s gone a stage further.

In Mark Beasley’s letter (MW July 24) he referred to me as “Donald Wright of CMT who commented that Barclaycard is doing a ‘bloody good job'”.

It’s absolutely true that I said the word “bloody” and everything else that ran in your Special Report “Mail impotence”.

But my name is unequivocally Donald Hamilton. If there’s one thing we know about at CMT, it’s getting a name right. That’s without a “W”.
