St Luke’s has won the 5m account for Fox’s biscuits after pitching against HHCL & Partners, Saatchi & Saatchi and Mustoe Merriman Herring Levy.

Interflora, the troubled flower delivery service, is reviewing its 4m advertising account just 16 months after appointing Ammirati Puris Lintas. No one from Interflora or APL was available for comment.

The TBWA Chiat/Day network is tipped to win the Apple Computer 10m European advertising account. Last month, the agency won the ailing company’s 56m account in the US. Bartle Bogle Hegarty has pulled out of the pitch for the account. The remaining agencies are BDDP Paris and Leagas Delaney.

Pork Farms Bowyers has drawn up a shortlist of Banks Hoggins O’Shea, Partners BDDH and Mustoe Merriman Herring Levy for its 1.5m account to advertise its pie and sausage brands.

Young & Rubicam was taken off two shortlists this week. The agency lost its place on the Hoover list, leaving Ogilvy & Mather and J Walter Thompson to pitch next Monday. It is also out of the running for the 11m pan-European account for Europcar Interrent. McCann-Erickson, Bates Europe and Publicis will pitch.

Heathrow Express, the high-speed rail link between London Paddington and Heathrow which opens next June, has advertised for a marketing services agency in the Official Journal of the European Communities.

Leo Burnett has hired Kate Howe from D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles as account director on new product development for Kellogg. Howe previously worked on the Burger King account.

Abbott Mead Vickers.BBDO is launching a new TV ad campaign for Homebase. The agency claims the campaign is a dramatic departure from traditional price-led DIY advertising, using humour and out-rageous settings to reflect people’s new confidence in expressing themselves through their homes. The campaign breaks on September 15.

The European Advertising Alliance is publishing a new guide, called Advertising Self-Regulation in Europe, which includes a breakdown of regulations in each European market.

Whitbread will launch three new press executions for its premium cask ale Wadworth 6X, through Lowe Howard-Spink this month. The campaign is headed, ‘Your Guide to a Better Pub Life’, and carries the endline ‘Lovingly Brewed in Devizes Since 1885’.
