Jan Hall takes partnership in executive recruitment agency

Jan Hall, former European chief executive of the GGT Group, has taken a partnership in recruitment consultancy Spencer Stuart.

Hall resigned from GGT in May, on the completion of its 96m acquisition of French agency network BDDP (MW May 8).

She had been in charge of developing business across Europe, but her role was ceded to the French group’s European chief executive Rod Wright and global chief executive Jean-Claude Boulet. After she left GGT, it was reported that Hall received 200,000 in compensation.

Spencer Stuart specialises in placing top executives, and Hall will take an international role at the search consultancy. It has 40 offices in 20 countries around the world.

Hall was previously chairman and chief executive of brand identity consultancy Coley Porter Bell, where she worked for ten years until joining GGT in 1994. She is joining the President of the Board of Trade’s President’s Advisory Group on Competitiveness.
