Wesleyan Financial Services is believed to have shortlisted GGT Advertising and Partners BDDH for its 10m advertising account.

British Gas Services has shortlisted incumbent TBWA Simons Palmer, Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe and Bartle Bogle Hegarty to pitch for its advertising account.

Eric Giuily has been appointed chief operating officer of BDDP Worldwide. Jean-Claude Boulet and Jean-Marie Dru, co-presidents of the group, announced Giuily’s appointment on Wednesday.

The commercial, sponsored by the Co-operative Bank, shows canaries being taken into a coal mine to test air quality. The aim is to illustrate the role of birds as a ‘barometer of environmental health’.
