Mars DM man nets Save & Prosper post

Save & Prosper Group, the investment house, has appointed former Mars marketer John Humpish as marketing director.

Humpish has joined the company from Pedigree Petfoods, a subsidiary of global food giant Mars, where he was responsible for direct marketing across Europe.

He will now oversee advertising, marketing, product development, sponsorship and public relations for the financial services group.

He replaces acting marketing director Daniel Godfrey, who has been appointed communications director. Godfrey will co-ordinate external PR and product development and report to Humpish.

Humpish has spent the past nine years at Mars, where he was brand manager for the brands Twix, Bounty, Milky Way, Topic and Galaxy. He also worked on Pedigree at the German office. A replacement for him has not been appointed.
