Iceland is replacing its famous ‘Mum’s gone to Iceland’ strapline with ‘Home for Christmas’ for TV advertising in the run-up to the festive season. A permanent new strapline will be introduced in the new year.

Every Swedish citizen aged over six is to be given a personal e-mail address and the ability to pay bills securely on the Internet as part of the @Post project being developed by Sweden Post, the national post office. E-mails sent to people without Internet access will be printed out at their local post offices and delivered by hand.
