Quick pay-out fails to stifle yawns

The world-weary Lord Mancroft had a busy day last Thursday, as he launched Pronto!, the controversial online lottery game with draws every ten minutes.

It was a packed agenda, with busty barmaids posing for the tabloids, a braying government minister trying to get the game banned for its potentially addictive qualities and countless television and radio interviews. By the time the Diary reached his Lordship in the evening, he must have been bushed. When asked if he would be a regular player of the new game, Mancroft admitted that he would probably find the game pretty boring if he played it every day.

This was obviously a double bluff. He was trying to paint a picture of a somewhat dull game, that no-one would possibly get addicted to. However, having played the game, the Diary fears his Lordship may be right.
