Standards slide gets a salute

London Electricity has scooped the top prize at the 1997 Utility Industry Achievement Awards in the marketing initiative of the year category.

The judges praised LE for its fully integrated campaign because it “delivered the benefits message so clearly”. “Exactly what benefits are those?” we hear you cry.

LE is meeting the Cabinet Office at the end of January to explain how it is improving its performance.
