Saatchi stunt fails to win the Lottery

Any excuse to dress up in football kit and 99 per cent of the male population are bound to go for it. So when the opportunity came along to combine work with the pleasure of slipping on a shiny nylon shirt, the Saatchi & Saatchi team just couldn’t resist.

Creatives built their very own version of a World Cup final for their head-on clash with BMP DDB for the Vernons National Lottery game account, complete with an astroturf floor and account executives in full (Arsenal, Tottenham, whatever) strip. The team were, however, outclassed in the 90-minute pitch.

The final score: BMP DDB 13m, Saatchi & Saatchi nil.
