Blair’s blows to marketing are minimal

I cannot say that I agree with much of what Mr Murray has to say, but I certainly enjoy his comments and would be sorry to see him quietened.

However, I am amazed by his insistence in a number of his recent columns that the current movement towards political correctness has been due almost entirely to “these dark days in which we dwell in the shadow of a Labour Government”.

That a political party should have completely changed the culture of marketing and advertising in only six months is almost unbelievable. It is a shows either the power of the Labour Party (“Hail Tony Blair”) or the weakness of the marketing industry.
