Modelling prank is just Snow joke

Even in today’s age of spin-doctoring, fat-cat salaries are unheard of in the public relations industry, if the experience of Anthony Snow, chairman of PR giant Hill & Knowlton, is anything to go by.

For it would appear Snow’s salary is so low he has been forced to take up moonlighting – as a male model. He appears twice in the latest copy of the Boden Spring Clothing catalogue sporting an Oxford stripe “Friday Shirt” and a very smart dark navy plainweave suit with pale pink shirt and printed silk tie.

Snow denies he has fallen on hard times and laughs off his modelling stint as part of a family joke. “My daughter Henrietta is production assistant on the magazine and she was heard to say: ‘At last I am doing something that Dad has nothing to do with.’ So I rang the creative director and asked to be in the catalogue. She knew nothing about it until she opened it and saw the photographs.”
