Mitchell Patterson Grimes Mitchell (MPGM) has been appointed to tea maker Twinings’ account. MPGM won the 1m business in a pitch involving Leagas Delaney, RPM3 and Maher Bird.

J Walter Thompson is tipped to win the 3m campaign to attract young people to engineering launched by Engineering Council, the Engineering Employers’ Federation and the Engineering and Marine Training Authority.

McCann-Erickson Manchester is understood to have won the 3m British Gas Energy Centres account.

Viglen is looking for an advertising agency to handle its 3m creative account after parting company with Mustoe Merriman Herring & Levy.

BT has appointed the Cramm Francis Woolf consultancy to handle its 5m consumer direct marketing account. It won the pitch against Ogilvy One, Carlson and Hubbard Hiwaizi McCann.
