Tango unveils new bosom pal

Gayle Tuesday – that affectionate parody on a page three model – is joining the auspicious ranks of

Mr Puniverse and Ray Gardner in publicising the Tango brand.

Punters going along to her nationwide tour sponsored by Diet Tango, which hits glamour spots ranging from Hemel Hempstead to Croydon and Catford, can expect the obvious – a can of the fruit carbonate placed on their seats and the even more obvious, a reference to the drink worked in to her act.

Any mention of the brand by the comedian Brenda Gilhooley will be “agreed” and “appropriate for her act” says a Diet Tango spokesman. But what “appropriate” means in an act that includes details of Ms Tuesday’s career of “taking her top off in many cities around the UK” and a sponsored charity topless walk for Help the Aged remains to be seen.
