BT has drawn up a shortlist for its 2m consumer hardware products account. McBain Noel-Johnson, Duckworth Finn Grubb Waters and Leo Burnett are pitching.

Van den Bergh’s ad for Olivio spread through Bartle Bogle Hegarty, featuring three elderly Italian women, has been ruled misleading by the Advertising Standards Authority. It implies the spread alone, rather than a Mediterranean diet, can make you live longer.

Anheuser-Busch has handed the advertising account for Bud Light, which is being tested in Manchester, to BMP DDB. A poster and bus campaign breaks in May.

Team Saatchi has created a 500,000 campaign for regional brewer Charles Wells’ premium bitter Bombardier (right), which launches on St George’s Day, April 23. The campaign will appear on the sports pages of national daily and Sunday newspapers.

Ammirati Puris Lintas has devised a TV push for Johnson & Johnson’s Carefree Breathable sanpro brand. The ads break on May 4 and carry the strapline: ‘All the protection you need, all the freshness you could ask for’.
