MLC’s 3m is cash well spent

We were surprised to read that the Meat & Livestock Commission spends 10m a year on advertising beef on TV (MW May 28).

We were surprised to read that the Meat & Livestock Commission spends 10m a year on advertising beef on TV (MW May 28).

We were also extremely flattered that our actual spend of less than 3m appears to have the impact of more than three times as much.

Perhaps it all comes down to quality – two of our beef commercials won industry awards last year (as did one of our pork commercials) – and the series has been well received both within our own industry and, as is shown by rising beef sales, by consumers.
