Great Western passengers deserve more

I was not sorry to read that Great Western marketing director John McCallion is off to pastures new (MW June 25).

As a regular traveller between London and the West Country, I would prefer to have someone at the helm who is more interested in his customers’ comfort and safety than in lining his own pockets.

Let’s hope his successor has more of an eye on the service offered by Great Western than an eye on the main chance.
