Grattan recruits marketing boss from UB

Catalogue company Grattan has ended a seven-month search to replace customer and marketing director Elaine Greenwood with the appointment of United Biscuits marketer Henrietta Morrison.

Morrison, new category development controller at UB, will join in September. She will oversee marketing for two of Grattan’s home shopping brands – Grattan and Look Again.

A Grattan spokeswoman says: “We can confirm the appointment of Henrietta Morrison as customer and marketing director.”

Greenwood, the customer and marketing director for five years, quit the company suddenly without a job to go to in January (MW January 22). But she has recently resurfaced as Bupa marketing director for UK membership.

Nick Allen, business planning director at Grattan, has been running the marketing and publications departments in the interim.

Grattan is the UK’s third largest home shopping company. It consolidated its three brands – Grattan, Look Again and Kaleidoscope – into a single-site in Bradford last year.
