Media types buy American dream

Great minds think alike. A gaggle of key figures in the media world are flocking to Harvard Business School this autumn to improve their already developed corporate acumen.

Sitting in the lecture theatres at the great Boston university will be Mike Ironside, advertisement director for the Daily Mail, Dawn Airey, director of programmes for Channel 5 and Tim Lindsay, chief executive of Lowe Howard-Spink.

So get ready for an onslaught of ideas, fresh from across the pond, such as only getting two weeks holiday a year and being in the office by 7am, when the cultivated crew return to good old Blighty.
