Dial Corporation plans new UK beauty range

The Dial Corporation is unveiling a new range of natural beauty products in the UK and is planning to launch its Dial soap brand across Europe.

Dial is the biggest selling anti-bacterial soap in the US with an-nual sales of $350m (219m), according toRon Carpenter, managing director international of the Dial Corporation.

He says launch plans for the soap are “off the drawing board”, but confirms the company is planning to market it in the UK and Europe.

The company is also extending the Freeman range of natural beauty products in the UK. Dial bought Freeman, which turned over $65m (41m) last year, two months ago.

In October, it will introduce a mass-market skincare line called Vitamin C Complex, which will be available through Superdrug and independent chemists.

The range, which costs between 4 and 6, consists of five items, including a moisturiser, a cleanser and a pore mask.

It is also adding to the Beautiful Skin range, which is already available in Boots. The new product, called Beautiful Skin Lotion, will be sold through Superdrug.
