Mark Warner Leisure Group has shortlisted Banks Hoggins O’Shea, Quintessential Advertising and the Arc Group of Companies for its 1m advertising account.
The account will include national media, direct marketing and data based research. It was also contested by two other agencies, Interfocus and Gould & Portmans, which have now been dropped.
Mark Warner owns 15 winter hotels and chalets and 12 summer club hotels in the Mediterranean. It recently announced the opening of two new hotels that will launch in the 1998/99 winter season, and one in summer 1999.
The company plans to increase its customer base from 50,000 to 100,000 over the next five years. A final decision is expected next week.
