Not much super about models

I see from this week’s Marketing Week that the Mini (car) has signed up supermodel Kate Moss ( no relation).

When, oh when, will the quality media, which includes your goodselves, cease referring to these underfed, overpaid and often less-than-attractive girls as supermodels. There is nothing super about them! Apart from their super salaries as a result of being given this ridiculously unwarranted title.

Yes, the Mini is a supermodel, as is the Corsa SXi, the Astra SRi, and the Vectra GSi, but to qualify Kate Moss as a supermodel when there are so many other far more pretty and attractive girls around is utter nonsense.

Admittedly, upon reflection, this supermodel nonsense has been completely fuelled by the casting couch tabloids, all of which know better.
