A case of pot calling the kettle black

I could not help but read with interest the letter from Mr Edward Moss (MW November 5) about the article: “Falmer’s miseries add to jeans blues”, and his comments concerning a previous letter.

I was fascinated to discover that Mr Moss is, in fact, the communications manager (retail network) for Vauxhall Motors.

Surely his comments concerning the price of jeans should have been far more supportive, and pointed out that the justification for the difference in price is due to the difference in specification, trim and the overall service level available in the UK compared to that in the US.

After all, this is exactly the same communications message which is issued by Vauxhall Motors when the prices of its products in the UK are so different to the pricing on the continent.
