Campbell Distillers has appointed a new marketing director for the UK after losing its previous director to a subsidiary of its parent company Pernod Ricard in Spain.
Mark Davis, formerly marketing manager with the spirits company, has been promoted to director following the departure of his predecessor Sergio Marly to an equivalent position with Pernod Ricard Larios.
Davis has more than ten years marketing experience in the drinks industry. He will oversee brands such as Jameson Irish Whiskey, Pernod, and Bushmills Malt.
Campbell’s sister company in Ireland, Irish Distillers, recently appointed the BDDP network to the Jameson account, estimated at 12m, which Campbell Distillers oversees in the UK. A new campaign for the brand ran shortly before Christmas and a campaign for Aberlour is under way in Europe.
