Benckiser launches a television advertising campaign this Saturday to promote its Vanish Tablets stain remover. The three-week campaign, created by Benckiser’s agency WCRS, will start with a series of ‘teaser’ ads and culminate in a ‘reveal’. Benckiser marketing manager for fabric treatments Nevine El-Warraky says this is to ensure maximum exposure. The campaign will consist of four 20-second ads and two ten-second spots. Vanish Tablets, which are added to the laundry wash, were launched last October following the spring launch by Lever Brothers of Persil Tablets. Media was bought by BMP Optimum.
