Footware manufacturer Dr Martens has commissioned a seven-minute football documentary to extend its exposure to soccer fans. Broadcast sponsorship consultancy The Beach has produced the short film, which features snapshots of football fans’ exploits and emotions over 16 match days. The film, which will be broadcast on Sky Sports 1 on February 28 before the channel’s Premier League football coverage, is intended to build on Dr Martens’ sponsorship of Premiership club West Ham United and non-league side Rushden & Diamonds.
