Prague gives Go expansion extra boost

British Airways’ low-cost airline, Go, which announced four new destinations this week, is planning to fly to Prague later this year.

The airline, which makes its television advertising début this week, aims to add the capital of the Czech Republic to its list of routes.

Go’s new ad campaign highlights its 12 destinations, including its three new flights to Spain: the capital Madrid; Bilbao, the site of the Guggenheim Museum; and Malaga, the gateway to the southern coastal resorts; and its new flight to Faro in Portugal’s Algarve.

The four executions were created by HHCL & Partners with media planning by Optimedia and will run on Carlton, LWT and Anglia.

Go sales and marketing director David Magliano says: “We have reached critical mass where TV ads can play a part in communicating our range of destinations and competitive fares.”
