A disastrous photocall involving: an incontinent cow called Daisy; a class of primary school children and a dry cleaning bill from the photographer was one marketer’s baptism of fire.
Jill Rennie, now executive director at PR agency Cohn & Wolfe, witnessed the above scenario and is willing to offer future marketers tips on how to avoid such a mess.
As one of the guest speakers at the Whitbread Student Marketing Course, Rennie will hand out advice to would-be marketers.
Her titbits range from the classic: “trust your instincts and know your market” to the off-the-wall but appropriate “don’t believe the bulls**t”.
