Foster’s signs ‘young body’ for Formula 1

Scottish Courage has signed up Australian model Mimi MacPherson, younger sister of supermodel Elle “the body” MacPherson, as the new face of Foster’s Formula One sponsorship .

MacPherson will replace Kelly Brook, who spearheaded the brand’s sponsorship of last year’s F1 championship and is now a presenter on the Big Breakfast TV show.

MacPherson has fronted similar promotional campaigns for the National Basketball League, Swatch and the Australian Post Office.

As part of the agreement with Scottish Courage, signed at the Melbourne Grand Prix last month, MacPherson will feature in TV appearances and press promotions.

Foster’s 10m sponsorship of the Grand Prix dovetails with Fostralia 2000, a promotion offering people the chance to spend millennium eve in Sydney. It also complements its ad campaign, “He who drinks Australian, thinks Australian.”
