The BBC is to promote the Glastonbury music festival on Radio 1, BBC2, BBC Choice and BBC Online with TV trails recording the event’s progress from cow field to concert. The trails have been created by ad agency Fallon McElligott and are designed to show the BBC’s commitment to live music. The first trails show live coverage of the event before it starts and go on air this week. They feature a cow wandering across the festival site before the organisers arrive. The scene then changes to feature preparation of the site including, among other things, the delivery of portaloos, construction of the stages and festival goers pitching their tents. The trails were devised by Fallon creative directors Andy McLeod and Richard Flintham.
