Delaney Fletcher Bozell has won the &£10m corporate account for cable company United Pan-Europe Communications (UPC).
The agency is understood to have pitched for the account against Lowe Howard-Spink, Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper and Bates UK.
UPC is one of the largest multiple systems operators in Europe, offering cable TV, Internet and telephony services.
It has launched an aggressive acquisition strategy, buying cable operators across Europe, since its listing in February on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange and Nasdaq.
Delaney Fletcher has been appointed to develop the branding for the company that will be used across its newly acquired businesses.
Simeen Kadi, who is responsible for marketing across Europe for UPC, says: “Delaney Fletcher is coming on board as the branding guardian.”
UPC will continue to work with agencies operating in its individual markets across Europe.
UPC has operations in the Netherlands, Austria, Norway and Belgium and is in the process of buying cable companies in France, Hungary, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland.
