AllAdvantage.com is no advantage

Prize for most desperate attempt to attract journalists to a press conference goes to AllAdvantage.com, the Internet site that actually pays people to surf the Web.

In keeping with its generous USP, the company is offering visiting hacks a crisp £10 note in return for attending a party celebrating its success – it has claimed 50,000 members in four weeks.

The company says people who do not want the tenner could donate it to charity and it is to display a collection box at the event. Such a thin understanding of its target audience suggests the company has more problems than excess currency.
