D’Arcy has created a &£10m pan-European TV and press campaign for Mars bar, featuring the slogan ‘Every day should be this good’. The new theme is intended to show everyday incidents which bring a smile to people’s faces. The TV ad breaks on terrestrial, satellite and cable channels on March 26. Media is through Zenith. It features a young man who finds a stray puppy while walking through a park. The puppy follows the man and leads him to a beautiful young woman. He reflects that “every day should be this good” as he eats a Mars bar. D’Arcy has also created press ads tailored to specific magazine readerships – which will appear in May and June issues.
