Procter & Gamble has come up with a new charm offensive to promote recently-launched toilet tissue Charmin.

The Charmin Ultimate Loo Awards is a “Toilet Oscars”-style ceremony for private and public loos across the country.

If your loo is nominated as one of the cleanest, poshest, weirdest, or most comfortable, in the country, the company could be dropping in to spend a penny.

Launching the awards, P&G claims almost everyone in the country has had “at least one bad toilet experience in their life”.

Good thing the company invited Birds of a Feather star Lesley Joseph to the launch, and not George Michael.
